Out on the Water in Door County

Here’s how we spent our BIG Friday night out. Yep, we were in search of some Walleye. We did catch a couple of those good tasting treats. We also caught an absolutely gorgeous sunset.  For whatever reason, they always look more striking from the water versus from on land.  Sadly, these pictures don’t really do it justice.

You gotta just love Door County in Summer:)

Write On Door County writer’s workshop

My fellow author friend Virginia McCullough and I had the pleasure of leading a workshop for Write On Door County yesterday, October 14th.  It was a lot of fun.  We talked about how to write your first draft fast, overcome avoidance, spark creativity, accountability, etc.  Here’s some pics from the day.

Thank you Jerod, Write On Door County, for the opportunity!

Thank you Author Virginia McCullough for being such an inspiration!

Keep Calm and WRITE ON!

Door County – Salmon Fishing

It’s that time of year again – the Door/Kewaunee Salmon Tournament.  All non-fishing life stops in the Clarizio house during this 10 day tournament; fishing is on the brain morning, noon, and night.  Though we’re not catching any tournament winners we are capturing some beautiful views including sunrises, sunsets, and even a double rainbow.  Yes, it rained on our parade at one point but as they say, “A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work, anytime.”
